The course is intended for cardiologists, radiologists and other professionals, specialists and in training, interested in cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. The emphasis is on the basic principles of CMR imaging and on the clinical value of CMR in different cardiac diseases with practical hands-on sessions.

The course is designed as a CMR level 1 course. The program includes lectures and discussions in the morning and workshops with interactive clinical cases and hands-on training on dedicated CMR workstations in the afternoon. Participants will acquire basic knowledge on how to interpret CMR scans.

The course is in the process of endorsement by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
